Matthew Shield graduated from the University of York and has since completed the Law Conversion Course and the Bar Vocational Course.

He has specialised in Debt Collection and Insolvency cases for Varley Hibbs since 2005. He acts for both commercial organisations and individuals in this area of law, as well as in agency matters for other solicitors. Matthew qualified as a solicitor in November 2007. Since then he has specialised in Civil/Commercial Litigation and Company/Commercial law matters.
