Divorce and Family Law Solicitor | Varley Hibbs

Susan graduated with an Honours Law Degree from Warwick University in 1974 before qualifying as a solicitor. Susan joined Varley Hibbs in 1987 and is a Member of the firm practising exclusively in Family Law.

Susan specialises in Divorce and ancillary financial and property issues for clients in matters involving assets of substantial monetary value. She also represents parents in disputes concerning residence and contact arrangements for children.

Susan was a founder member, in 1988, of the Coventry & Warwickshire Regional Branch of Resolution, the national organisation of specialist Family lawyers, formerly known as The Solicitors Family Law Association. Resolution promotes a reasoned, non-acrimonious approach to settlement of issues in family matters, in relation to children and financial issues. Susan continues as an active member locally within Resolution, having served two years as Chair and adheres to the Code of Conduct of this organisation.

Susan trained as a Family Mediator with the Family Mediators Association. She is on the Board of Trustees for Coventry and Warwickshire Family Mediation. Susan was also a founding member of the Management Committee for the Coventry Children’s Contact Centre in 1988 and continues to be involved on the management committee.

Susan's commitment to Family law in Coventry was officially recognised when she was named "the Legal Professional of 2007" at the Coventry and Warwickshire Professional of the Year awards.

Susan provides a sympathetic, yet professional approach in representing the best interests of her clients.
