Tim originally joined Varley Hibbs in 1994 as a solicitor, becoming a partner of the firm two years later.

Tim left the firm to found and become a director of an outsourcing services provider company, working for international banks. Whilst remaining a director, Tim was appointed as a partner in Tarlo Lyons Solicitors, a niche technology firm in the City of London.

In 2004, Tim left Tarlo Lyons Solicitors to oversee the sale of the outsourcing company to an American bank and to advise a major Asian software provider on its outsourcing and development strategy. He continues to work in this capacity for a number of software companies.

Tim rejoined Varley Hibbs as a consultant in 2006.

Tim specialises in Company/Commercial law, with particular expertise in the technology and outsourcing sectors. He has advised companies, banks and insurance companies on outsourcing strategies, technology agreements, software licensing, acquisitions and disposals, amongst other areas.
